Some people said that 1 couple of batteries is just enough for about 160 shots. Is it true? if true it is so inconvenient because AA batteries can not be recharged when they are still not empty. Mar 17, 2008 - Well as a rule I always have extra batteries with me just in case. I would say that they last longer than 160 shots because of the power save feature. Energizer makes batteries that are AA and are rechargeable, I think their lithium and the name for them are e-power I think. But like i said before just carry backups with ya and have some rechargable batteries and ya should be fine. Their is a DC in connector on the camera but i think its sold seperatly i haven't looked into yet.
