amarnamriju Says:

Nov 2, 2008 - I like the new mix more. that version makes the entry of the kickass riff that starts after "lovey dovey stuff" even more kickass

SpammerOvTheGods Says:

Nov 2, 2008 - the only U2 video better than this is Gloria. jdfu!

VladisTheFly Says:

Nov 3, 2008 - U2 are the only rock band who would have such guts to make something that sounds way different from anything else in its time, what a kickass tune! Rock on!

Euranier Says:

Nov 4, 2008 - GREAT!!!

u2musicforpeace Says:

Nov 4, 2008 - I think there's more going on philosophically underneath the surface of Elevation and Vertigo. Both of these songs illustrate Modern and especially Postmodern confusion about personal identity. And Vertigo seems to be about the conflict between the "head" and the "heart". Read "U2 and Philosophy" it's awesome.

Nov 4, 2008 - Check out Larry's grin at 4:34. Priceless. He really didn't take this video seriously.I don't think we're supposed to take it seriously either.

monsterinyourpocket Says:

Nov 5, 2008 - ya the new mix on the best of is a lot better. new album better be good.

DrSequoia Says:

Nov 5, 2008 - The sexiest video and the sexiest song from the band that used to be fearless in terms of art. Shame that those days have been left behind and dismantled...

mrmacphisto89 Says:

Nov 5, 2008 - I hate how the album this song comes from, POP, gets a bad rap. POP is a excellent album, great lyrics, great music, great everyting. No other artist(except Bowie) would have the balls to make an album like that.

VladisTheFly Says:

Nov 6, 2008 - Edges ultra distorted riff at 2:14 = *drools*

Rotaryfatboy Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - This song is rather different to what Im used to hearing from the lads...but it's still a great track. 4:22-4:45 is a bit gay though...

ComplexedSociety Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - The video is just making a mockery of mainstream music at that time. Specifically pop music.

marapovic Says:

Nov 13, 2008 - Not a traditional U2 tune, but its groovy as all hell, I like it.

lp32862 Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - This is song that is testament to the greatest that is U2, that their ability to recareate themselves. POP is an underated album. I love this song and album.

bonoffee83 Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - I heart Discotheque. Well, for the record, I heart everything U2 did in the 90s, it was all awesome. This vid is great, if only for Larry's complete reluctance to join in with the boom-chas! And of course Edge's porn-star moustache.

Eddiehdez16 Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - best disco song ever made haha im just messing

RubyTwilite Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - Is that The Edge without a hat? Not bad!
