On the "racist" I tend to not agree, because to me racism is related to qualities or "defects" of ppl based on their blood, the "racial features" they are born with. A behaviour is a choice of every human being, so I do not like to subsume it under "racism" which is much more wicked as it limits ppl to what they cannot alter, colour and stuff.

This is something else, it will either grow and evolve, or die. As for the traditional styles of belly dance, the same holds true of them: Adapt or fade away.
