F space is for fenders and modern gibsons and such, in fact most guitars today are F spaced, save reissues of vintage guitars for example. the regular spacing is for older gibson, from the time before they as well changed to the F spacing. I think dimarzio has a guide on their website to help you find out which spacing was used on your guitar.

Dimarzio says John5 is using these now, does anyone know how similar if at all they are to the Fender Enforcer pickups ??? I think Fender stopped producing the Enforcer and I am looking for something similar for my Les paul. Any help would be appreciated
