Sep 15, 2008 - I don't think I could hate this more if it had killed my family. This music is so artificial I think it gave me cancer!

Sep 23, 2008 - I can't understand that anybody can give such lousy comment on this video
beedoe51 Says:
Sep 26, 2008 - The previous comment is obviously from a moron. These guys are ACTUALLY playing these great parts to make this thing groove. Unlike todays so-called music consisting of samples, computer loops, file cloning and all the other bullshit tricks that allow people with no talent to be "STARS". Great post! Thanks.

Oct 11, 2008 - That was the most idiotic response I have ever heard. I love it!!!
Paulonbass75 Says:
Oct 11, 2008 - You have no idea who I am. This is on par with all of that sampled garbage. It in fact does not groove and it give jazz a bad name. I happen to be a very well educated and respected musician. This plastic banana garbage makes me sick to my core. Just ask Pat Metheny. He shares my opinion.

Oct 12, 2008 - You don't like this clip, but you KEEP watching it. Nobody cares why. You are in the sad minority. :)
Paulonbass75 Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - I don't watch it, I get email when people respond to my comments.
knightflyte Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - What an elitist prick. Seriously man. You don't have to like it, and it may not meet your ever so humble standards of Jazz, but so what if others do. Music's supposed to make you feel good, not to be classified and used to ostracize others because of their preference. But if the only music you can seem to enjoy is pure unadulterated jazz like Miles Davis or Pat Metheny I feel bad for you.

Oct 29, 2008 - Amen!
MarshalltheIrish Says:
Oct 29, 2008 - Btw if this doesn't show up properly, I'm responding to someone who says the Rippingtons are godly. And I agree!
MACON0721 Says:
Oct 30, 2008 - I will admit that The Ripp's music is not for everyone...and everyone is entitled to their "opinions" (no matter how crass) I have seen these guys live twice. Afterwards, I got to meet each of them. They are very down to earth and friendly. I never had such a good time at any concert. I suggest each of you to see them live one time...then comment about their musical ability.
snmael Says:
Oct 30, 2008 - have you hears about synthetizers???
bartolemeo Says:
Nov 3, 2008 - It's so easy to just not write ANYTHING. Music is a very personal thing. If a person is moved by Rippingtons' music, as I am, it's entirely personal. I'm also moved by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Joe Sample, etc. Because I'm moved by Rippingtons' compositions, I'm musically shallow? wow. I also play.
echoftw Says:
Nov 9, 2008 - we played a rippingtons tune in my schools Jazz Band. We joked around, calling it weather channel music... None of us knew that their music literally was weather channel music. Nonetheless... great music

Nov 12, 2008 - Watching this video it is plain to see these very talented young men really enjoy their work with a passion and for that I thank God that such people exist to make wonderful music.Without passion there is only noise. Thanks for posting this. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT !!!!!

Aug 27, 2008 - The 2 BEST Rippingtons songs BY FAR in my book are Snowbound and North Peak. I could listen to those ALL DAY.
