Czech, Austria, Hungary all had wonderful teams in the 30's prior to WWII, Holland didn't take off until the late 60's... I think there are a lot of factors, but you may be right in the sense that if you take away the playing of football on the streets by kids aged 7 - 14 for 3 hours every evening, and give them computer games... this is what happens.

I mean we know the talent has to be there because if you look at a lot of german players, they have polish last names and in the case of podolski and klose they are born in polan to polish parents. so the problem isnt talent, its something else. perhaps poland needs to bring in a european coach or put more money into footballing infrastructure.
