Advanced techniques for people who want to play Yoshi in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Aug 5, 2008 - you cant wavedash... sakurai put all the advanced techniques away on purpose because he isnt liking the game physics manipulation aka pro like gaming, he wants it to be more casual...
NOSFERATUalu Says:
Aug 5, 2008 - good video =) too bad the techniques arent very useful against good spammers such as meta knight, pit or kirbys UpB
Jonassoe Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - The instant edgehog is even faster if you walk off the edge, fast fall and the tilt the stick towards the edge very quickly. Plus, it works with all characters.

Aug 7, 2008 - waiting for the advanced part

Aug 8, 2008 - Hey, I main Jigglypuff, Bowser, Lucario, and Dedede, and yet I still manage to kick butt around my area. It doesn't matter what tier, just how you use the character. My opinion, anyways...

Aug 8, 2008 - Sorry, already posted this, but it was origionally ment for you. Hey, I main Jigglypuff, Bowser, Lucario, and Dedede, and yet I still manage to kick butt around my area. It doesn't matter what tier, just how you use the character. My opinion, anyways...
minihawk123 Says:
Aug 10, 2008 - Whoops. Nvm. I suck at posting.
Mello92 Says:
Aug 25, 2008 - But if you play as yoshi, you can do a dragonic reverse, which is essentially wavedashing.
silverhalo117 Says:
Aug 26, 2008 - Actually, all you do is fast fall of a ledge really quickly. Don't hold down. Just flick it and you'll grab the ledge. For some people, you have to do that because they go too far when they go off the edge normally. Also, I play brawl seriously, and I just recently found that I'm decent with Yoshi. Any advanced techniques? I mean seriously advanced pl0x.
Geekmann Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - Isn't "pivot break" just a RAR? And if not wouldn't Rar be easier?
mecakoto Says:
Sep 14, 2008 - And Yoshi is Bottom tier why? This should be testament enough to show that tier lists are worthless.
MetaKnightMan6195 Says:
Sep 28, 2008 - dude, that right there was the most beautiful comment i have ever seen on youtube lol
demmension Says:
Oct 1, 2008 - Yoshi is awesome, in fact all the characters are. It just depends on how you use them including combos, grabbing, counter attacking and defense.

Oct 3, 2008 - Yoshi pwns....

Oct 3, 2008 - Silly Bowser...Tiers R 4 Queers..

Oct 7, 2008 - Falcon has speed, power, and a sweetspot Fair. To say he sucks is just showing that YOU suck with him, or got beat repeatedly by him. Not to mention he has two spikes. Tournies don't prove which character is better than who. Need something else to get that message through your head?
darkmario396 Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - yoshis cool if you know how to use him hes really good :3
shadow1dx Says:
Oct 18, 2008 - You forgot to mention Falcon has slow sluggish attacks, his attack speed is no where near his running speed, he has limiting KO moves, suffers greatly form Brawl's hitstun and has almost no priority. Do you have anything else I should counter?
shadow1dx Says:
Oct 18, 2008 - LOL silly, the Meta-game won't develop in Brawl
dabism Says:
Oct 23, 2008 - thx for the video, i wanted to know how to use consistent combo's and usually fail with only some move btw, whens the best time to press down A, cause i always miss-time it
SiLeNtDo0m Says:
Oct 23, 2008 - Hell yeah. I looked at the official list and I just thought "What the hell? Where they on drugs at the time?" They just put all the characters that require skill at the bottom (for the exception of Snake).
mecakoto Says:
Oct 23, 2008 - @ Shadow1dx: That is exactly what they said about Melee upon its release.
shadow1dx Says:
Oct 24, 2008 - Without combos the Meta Game can't develop and in Brawl no hitstun=no combos
mecakoto Says:
Oct 24, 2008 - Your definition of "combo" must be different then mine. I find a combo to be a string of hits that can't be avoided once started. I garentee you this exists in Brawl. If you need further proof that hit-stun is not needed for combos in Brawl, please refer to... well, every character. Because of this, the Meta-Game WILL develop further then it currently is now, as us the nature of games such as Brawl.
