Nov 8, 2008 - They should be rehabilitated instead. Putting people in for life or a prison sentence longer than their life span won't help rehabilitate them. If you take away their hope of them getting out of prison then to them their is no reason for them to reform or be good. It seems many prison guards aren't doing their jobs if many of them are the prisoners wouldn't have to depend on gangs for protection but I could be wrong.
