kentamitchell Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - Von Clausewitz? Sun Tzu? You simply don't know Military History. But go ahead- google "Amami Togo Toyota Yonai Suzuki" The truth is there if you bother to look it up

FlippieX Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - i didn't say anything about Von Clausewitz and Sun Tzu..... I just say that if the american had waited few extra days more, the japanese would have surrendered also.

kentamitchell Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - So how long was the US supposed to wait? 3 days? 3 weekks? 3 months? 3 years? Remember, there were 200,000 Allied POWs and civ. internees in J custody- and who ere dying of starvation every day. Surrender after Hiroshima? NO! Go ahead- read the minutes of the J War Cabinet (anyone who ants the truth and not engage in ishful thinking) Several members of "the Big Six" argued that the US could only have one such weapon. Every hour that went by improved their position.

kumail72 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - Japan will take its revenge on US, today or later, but they will,

FlippieX Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - Don't be stupid about suggesting months or years .. just wait a week. 200.000 starving to death is different then slowly melted in the street...

JordanN3335 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - What are you talking about? Russia crushed them in about a week. Also, they do have allies such as Venezuela.

lowndessooner Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - Revenge? This shit was revenge for all Japan did. Revenge itself is wrong though. It continues a cycle of revenge for revenge. It'll never end if you have that mindset. With that said. It was overkill to use nuclear weapons. It saved American lives, but was it morally right to use them? Hell no.

kentamitchell Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - School is in session. True, the bombs saved the lives of 100k Allied POWS and 100k Allied civilian internees, but it also saved MANY MORE Japanese lives. When MacArthur got to Tokyo 9/45 he cabled DC "give me bread or give me bullets" If the war had continued even a few more months J would have suffered mass starvation. MILLIONS of Japanese - mostly children- would have starved to death. Was it morally right to use them? HELL, YES!

kentamitchell Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - Go to Mecca, and STAY THERE!

kumail72 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - who were the ppl who suffered the bomb, the civilians, why didnt US fight the military? sweeping the cities, is just very immoral, i dont like the part of revenge either, but naturally speaking, it will happen, when ever japan will get his opportunity (or should i say time).

kumail72 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - right killing the civilians is just correct, to save the pows, wanna rescue pows, fight the army, not the civilians, and childrens. basically, the whole plan was to starve japs, of everything they hav, so they giv up, which is the lowest anyone can get in this world.

kumail72 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - as my father says, US is the most (buzdil country) scared country. rule on the base of technology, when they get close to the combat, they run.

Zixman1 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - Doubt it they got fucked over i dont think they wanna get fucked oer again

craveirosp Says:

Nov 17, 2008 - in sept 11th, the world laughed!!! and laughed hard!!!!!!!!! a remember a friend of mine saying to me that day, "smile now you fuckers""come on, smile"... and i saw a bunch of americans crying like pussies!!!

BeGrunge Says:

Nov 17, 2008 - racist. or would this be considered a nationalist? im not quite sure. but generalizations are wrong.

BeGrunge Says:

Nov 17, 2008 - kurai, i see you've down-thumbed everyone elses opinions... it's obvious that you're a facist in your own right, with a closed mind. there's nothing i can do to make you understand the truth obviously. good day to you sir.

NatesChannel Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Nanking Massacre + Bataan Death March = Payback by Uncle Sam The fact is in 1945 and even so in 2008, no country would win a nuclear war against the United States. We have the biggest, best, and most technologically advanced ICBM's and nuclear warheads. And we know how to use them effetcively! There are no rules to war. When the enemy struck us on December 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor, the rules were thrown out the window. I have no regrets over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They attacked us first.

KURAITENSA Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - 'so WE had to bomb em',proper fighting talk,[you WERE there?]and what WAS the U.S.doing in HAWAII anyway,oh yes, another country they occupied & set up camp...

kentamitchell Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Hawaii has been a state for almost 50 years. At the time of Pearl Harbor, it had been US territory for almost 50 years. Is there anything funnier than someone from a country that had an empire "on which the sun never set" criticizing another country's expansion?

kentamitchell Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - How funny! We've been in combat in Iraq for 5 1/2 years now. I do not see anyone running.

kentamitchell Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The US dropped the bombs and killed 200,000 (including over 20k J soldiers) If we'd blockaded them indefinitely 200k Allied civ internees and POWS and MILLIONS of J civilians- mostly children- would have died of starvation. The A bombs were the least abhorrent choice.

CertifiedArmorer Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - They make an awesome car!

nescafepresident Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I wouldn't buy a suzuki, matsuda, daihatsu or the lesser brands from japan unless I bloody well want problems. other than toyota and honda (they also have had MILLIONS of recalls in just the past three years) japan really doesn't make that good of a vehicle.

nescafepresident Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I'm from OZ and I remember a lot of Aussies crying too. Nobody was laughing execpt for some muzzies. I remember some Europeans saying that on this day they too were Americans. German warships flew their flags at half staff on that day. Sounds like to me mate you are one racist violent waste.

nescafepresident Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - There were no civilians in those cities mate. The so-called "civilians" were trained my the imperial army to fight the enemy upon invasion. After the war the "civilians" who survived the bombs were paid by the japanese govt just like the j-govt paid its soldiers. In essence mate there were no civilians in those cities.
