When MacArthur got to Tokyo 9/45 he cabled DC "give me bread or give me bullets" If the war had continued even a few more months J would have suffered mass starvation. MILLIONS of Japanese - mostly children- would have starved to death. Was it morally right to use them? HELL, YES!

After the war the "civilians" who survived the bombs were paid by the japanese govt just like the j-govt paid its soldiers. In essence mate there were no civilians in those cities.
