Nov 17, 2008 - i know the f1 has a bmw engine but thats not what i was talking about. The 'M' badge on say a M3 stands for Motorsport or M-Technik which is a wholly owned subsidiary of BMW. McLaren Group is not 'all BMW' as you put it. It is owned partly by Daimler which you would surely know if you worked at BMW.
