NIKKKRED Says:
Oct 8, 2008 - Wrong...There are only 2 ethnic groups in Europe of the original 3 natives one. The 2 are Celtic an Germanic. The third one, the ancient italics, who were the greeks and romans, have been diluted / disappeared. Spaniards who havent mixed with moors are celtic/germanic.
NorthwesternerGuy Says:
Oct 8, 2008 - Hahaha. In your imagination. Most of the Greeks, the Italians, the Spaniards or the Portuguese are brown or black haired, white skin and dark eyes. There are some people who look nordic in Spain, it's true since there is an important Germanic component which arrived in Middle Ages. However, most of Spaniards, Italians and Greeks are Mediterranean like. And the only one moor country that I know in Europe in which people have mixed with the moors is France.
NIKKKRED Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - Well Im just stating fact. About France, are you just saying this because Im french ? We were never a moor country ! Our ethnic group is made up of Gauls (celts) and Germans (franks). We do have "moors" or arabs coming in from Africa as immigration nowadays but thats the only moorish influence I can think of ! This is not a schoolgame man ! Check your history/facts !
NorthwesternerGuy Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - lol gauls and germans... lol the French speak a language derived from Latin, the French are catholics and the French drink wine and play bullfight... the French are LATINS! The whole of the French culture is what you have inherited from the Roman Empire. Gauls... lol Gauls... lol Have you thought about the demographic changes in the "Gallia" during the conquest of her by the Romans? How many Gauls died or were enslaved? lol
NIKKKRED Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - u moron...dont confuse race and culture ! I know my country's history im french ! We are a nation of Gauls and franks who have been heavily influenced by latin culture. Its called the gallo roman culture...The ethnic romans (ancient italic people) died out...it was the contrary than what u said that happened ! They died out, the germans/celts overpopulated them !
NorthwesternerGuy Says:
Oct 10, 2008 - No. That's what you want to believe but it's not true. Don't mix Celts and Germanics. Celts belong to the Indo-European linguistic group of Italo-Celtic. They're closely related to Italics culturally and linguistically. Second, Celts don't look like Germans. If Celts looked Germanics, the Irish, Cornish or Welsh (Celts) would be physically similar to the English (Germanics) in Britain but they're not.
NorthwesternerGuy Says:
Oct 10, 2008 - I can't stop thinking about Celtic people like Enya (Irish), the Corrs (Irish) or Catherine Zeta Jones (Wales) lol to convince myself that the Celts are 100% different from Germanic peoples... xD
NIKKKRED Says:
Oct 10, 2008 - I dont know where I said Celts and Germanic people were the same ? I completely agree and know that they are COMPLETELY RACIALLY different ethnic groups ! And yes mainland Europe (exept scandinavia) is racially mixed ! (CELTS+GERMANIC). I never argued the contrary.

Oct 26, 2008 - Columbus were not Spanish or Italian the real true is that in XV century Portugal and Spain were fighting for the word trade control by see, and in that time the Portuguese were near to discovery the way to India by see. Critóvão Colombo, real name Gonçalves Zarco was a Portuguese spy and the mission was convinced the king of Spain to sponsored an expedition to India by West. Zarco know that the Portuguese discovered America early, because he has these secret maps to guy him.

Nov 1, 2008 - No. This is jsut a theory..the only one fact taht ALL HISTORICIANS certified is that He was born in Genoa from Domenico Colombo and Susanna Fontanarossa..the Colombos shipping factories lasted for more than 200 years in Genoa and Savona..he then moved to Lisboa and then Spain..this is a fact..you r is just theory where no HISTORICAN agree...and by the way..America has been discovered by the venetian AMERIGO VESPUCCI

Nov 5, 2008 - I love films like this, historical adventure films that showcase the small gradual development of the Americas. Movie like The Mission and The New World. I know the New World wasn't perfect, but it had some merit. Just intense and fascinating how a land that is my home, so developed and tamed, was still primitive and fierce against being tamed.
