Nov 18, 2007 - Good film. I'd know that in brasil my people fight against babylon. In Surinam we have also the same history ...Freedom fighters like Boni,Baron,Codyo and many more. They also fought against europe during the slave trade. More than 200 years. Because of the maroons people stopped the slavery trade. Because babylon was losin' and couldn't controlled anymore !!! And that's the truth!!

Nov 27, 2007 - I watched this movie in my college history class, and where the action scenes are so cheezy and fake the movie is brilliant. Gilberto Gil was a genious and the movie was really cool.
