Oct 28, 2008 - taking a man and comparing him to another man with whom he agrees with often is much different from an entire political party acting as if one of the worst moments in american history only happened to them, a much different situation indeed, and on top of that claim to be the only ones who can keep us safe even though they were in charge when the attack happened and did nothing to heed the warnings that the attack was imminent
calkinst Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - you are what stops this country from living without hate, you are whats most disgusting and terrible about the great thing this country created, democracy. I would say do the U.S. a favor and move to africa if you love the continent so much and take your hate with you, but i wouldn't wish such hate to be injected in anyone's lives, this america you imagine with a reintroduced slavery is never going to happen. And no race is evil, you ass.
calkinst Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - yeah, right bill o the clown is the moral compass for unbiased journalism, and george bush was a good president.
calkinst Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - it's kind of what he does during the special comments, makes it more gripping or something.
calkinst Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - so who are the talented news people, bill o, hannity, and let me show you the true iq, olberman is the highest rated show on msnbc, and it one of the fastest growing shows out in cable news land right now, oh and now to mention, on the record with greta is pulling in more viewers than bill o the clown, but most importantly i wouldn't care if keith was 20th in the ratings, cause a talented news organization doesn't give a damn about the ratings, they care about the news and reporting it factually
calkinst Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - except it isn't, but who the hell cares about the ratings.... wait thats right someone who doesn't care about the news
calkinst Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - yeah he does chastise the left when they make mistakes, it's just easier to get material from the republicans in power cause they seem to be doing a lot of messing up lately
calkinst Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - so your stance is?
moomba445 Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - The attack wasn't imminent. Clinton could have killed Bin Laden LONG before Bush got in office. But I'm not saying Bush is not to blame. I'm saying that Clinton had the opportunity and the time to take him out. Remember USS Cole? That was bin Laden, but because of a sex scandal, the order wasn't given. The fact that Repubs are saying that they are the heroes of 911 is just false. But I'm referring to the concept. Every politician finds a strong point and makes it theirs, which shouldn't happen.
TheWindAndSeaObeyHim Says:
Oct 29, 2008 - 9/11 is a truth we must accept, and it is our history. Just as we must never stop teaching the holocaust so people do not forget, so people learn, so civility can move forward, instead of repeating the same mistakes. We must never let our gaurd down again.
freemarketadam Says:
Oct 30, 2008 - Heretofore, Barack Obama has exuded a fundamental misunderstanding of how democracy and capitalism work. He possesses neither the knowledge nor the capacity to be our president, and his election would hurt the entire world. Free Market Adam BTW--Keith Olbermann is ignorant. Hasn't he heard of Memorial Day? Does he not know that we commemorate Pearl Harbor each year?
KarmicJuggernaut Says:
Oct 31, 2008 - "you sir are black mailing some portion of the American electorate into voting for your party, by promising to help in the capture of Bin Laden only if you were made president. I'd rather win an election than capture Bin Laden" "Terrorists are not what you john mccain fight. Terrorists are what you john mccain use......" Olbermann is awesome!!!!!!
KarmicJuggernaut Says:
Oct 31, 2008 - mccain graduated 894 of 899 and you claim obama doesn't have the "knowledge"... you are avoiding the facts
lamarsteiner466 Says:
Nov 4, 2008 - You stupid, ignorant child. Some day you will wake up to reality.
NephandiMan Says:
Nov 8, 2008 - While I agree with the sentiment of all those who are crying "Olbermann for president," I wouldn't want him anywhere other than he is right now: speaking truth to power, and exposing lies, hypocrisy, and intellectual and ethical slovenliness. I wonder what he will do when Obama takes office. Perhaps we will find that neither of them is the EVIL PARTY-LINE LIBERAL BOOGEYMAN his right-wing detractors make him out to be.
italivin Says:
Nov 10, 2008 - i dont belong to a party, but I just HATE this guy. This is negative campaigning for Obama. People get mad at mccain for one negative commercial, this guy gets his own show. Bush's admin sucks, but republicans don't deserve any of the harsh words Olbermann uses. ""SOCIOLOGICAL PORNOGRAPHY", "SADISTICALLY DISRESPECTFUL", PROFANELY", "SLIGHT OF HAND" , "INVERSION OF REALITY" I CAN'T BELIEVE OLBERMANN SAYS ALL THIS. "This is all anyone with a conscience can say about this. It's terrifying"
kansasfan12345 Says:
Nov 11, 2008 - I like watching Olbermann, but his Special Comments get a bit ridiculous.
dindaejeon Says:
Nov 11, 2008 - "Harsh words"? What is this, grade school? These are people's lives...harsh words are the least the last 8 years deserve. One word I'd have love to have heard was IMPEACHED. However seeing as that's STILL IRONICALLY NOT EVEN ON THE TABLE and it's still illegal to spank the crap out of a President/his Congress and send them to their room with out any more power, I'll take a few more of those harsh words. My favorite of which is GET OUT NOW WHILE WE STILL HAVE SOME DIGNITY LEFT!!!
italivin Says:
Nov 11, 2008 - ya. kids in grade school use terms like "SADISTICALLY DISRESPECTFUL" and refer to terrible events as "SOCIOLOGICAL PORNOGRAPHY." I'll tell you something that grade school kids and Olbermann have in common. They take one thing that is true and exaggerate it beyond recognition.
dindaejeon Says:
Nov 12, 2008 - It seems you like the phrases seeing as you've typed them twice now. I prefer the words DEBAUCHED PRESIDENCY/PRESIDENT, DIGNITY HOLOCAUST and the ERA of IDIOCY. Call it what you want the fact that this Presidency has done more damage to America(ns) [home and abroad] is overwhelmingly apparent to MOST civilized people, INCLUDING GRADE SCHOOL STUDENTS. 9.11 was a terrible event, that DID NOT need to be visually replayed over and over. How people describe that, it really up to them. Even Keith.
italivin Says:
Nov 12, 2008 - Ill repeat it. Every special report Olbermann does just takes opinions that have merit and and makes them unrecognizable. It's dividing the American people. When delivered the right way, a lot of his arguments would make sense to people on the other side, but he over exaggerates it so much that only the left can identify with it. I didn't say it was good that they played those clips, I'm just saying that it's not anywhere near as big of a deal as Olbermann exaggerates it to be.
italivin Says:
Nov 12, 2008 - "The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn't so"
dindaejeon Says:
Nov 12, 2008 - "Over exaggerates"/"harsh words" your opinion. The "Special Comment" is his opinion. I think that most people (on either side) can spot a good argument (despite capricious language) as long as they as they fall some where in the middle of the spectrum. He's far in one direction and wouldn't get to those far in the other direction. However, with a bit of forgiveness of his zeal, what he says makes sense, period. The sad thing is our President lacks zeal and intellect, which to me is far worse.
GstateBALLER925 Says:
Nov 14, 2008 - if you follow politics/current events on MSNBC, and have a facebook account, you should join this group. facebook*com/group*php?gid=47155022864 thanks.
moomba445 Says:
Oct 27, 2008 - How about what the Democrats are saying about John McCain? George Bushâ„¢ George Bushâ„¢ George Bushâ„¢
