Aug 12, 2008 - I moved to Victoria to retire but only stayed two years. The huge number of homeless people and the car theft was hard to live with. Residents there also constantly lied, I guess that is why they call Victoria "The city of denial"? The city dumping 100% of all human waste directly into the ocean was also a negative. Employment opportunities for the young were non-existant, and people were actually collecting bottles to earn money. Nice place to visit, but don't live there.
