Paki culture.. lezz see.. fkin Arab nd Persian wannabes.. yet too bad, the Arabs nd Persian BOTH luk down on u.. only culture Pak has got is Indian BUDDHIST culture like in Taxilla..

Nov 17, 2008 - Nicely said! This is a beautiful song with exquisite poetry that's about the struggle of self-discovery, something that applies to everyone. So appreciate it! It's a gorgeous song.

Nov 18, 2008 - Thats very mature BROTHER, you jerk. Some one got on your nerves and you decide to insult a country. By the way, there are thousands of Punjabi videos on this site, both Indian and Pakistani, visited by people from both countries. This kaafi was written by a Muslim saint who hailed from an area now in Pakistan. His poetry belongs to everyone who seeks goodness. People such as you are filth who should stay away from such pure poetry.

Nov 19, 2008 - Am surprised you said that.. I just heard Junoon's version.. Rabbi's version conveyed the spiritual intent in a better fashion..
sophiasue Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - I grew up with Junoon so maybe my view is somewhat biased...I've always found Ali Azmat's voice to have a raw edge to it so although it may not sound as 'fluid' as Rabbi's..it certainly feels more passionate (to me anyway ^_^)

Nov 25, 2008 - I agree, may be Bulla Shah was influenced by Rumi, do you know if Bulla Shah has any poem in Persian (farsi)? Peace bro...
vikjand Says:
Nov 25, 2008 - The whole point of the lyrics and the poetry is lost if we end up trying to compare "versions". Both Junoon and Rabbi have their own passion and their own version.
vikjand Says:
Nov 25, 2008 - I had the same thought after hearing this song...

Dec 3, 2008 - I heard Junoon's version...hated it. This one is soulful, contemplative, expressive. I didn't understand the video for Junoon...it didn't touch the heart like this song does for me.
Hackiesacker007 Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - haha I find it ironic that Rabbi Shergill made this song! He is a Sikh, and Sikhs know exactly who they are... then again, it's just a song!
