Nov 29, 2008 - It's Jacques Brel. Jacks did a cover of the english version and modified the last verse, as it seems. So mainly he modified the english lyrics but did not write the song. Although seeing as he completely simplyfied the harmony and arrangement it can't really be called the same song anymore.

Just listened to it again after so many years, what a sad song.
