Orcakeline Says:

Mar 15, 2008 - One of the best band that ever made canto before and came out with such a well trained voice and such a sharp mind for writing songs and getting the tempo and sound super-duper!

seque69 Says:

Mar 18, 2008 - Listen to the original by Woody Herman's band. Man Trans has same arrangement.

Mar 25, 2008 - I love this it's amazing

Orcakeline Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - You're right,Woody Herman's version is so much better, because of the instruments practically..Their music is very good,I mean it,even thou it's true Manhattan Transfer made the words for their song so that at least makes them good :)

avenqer Says:

May 9, 2008 - MHT Does an A+ plus job on this... The fact that they put sax into words is amazing. Comparing them to Woody is like comparing Led Zeppelin doing Mary Had a Little Lamb and Mister Rogers... ya, now you get it...Not one is better than the other, but they both have respectable excellent style/performance.

Sep 7, 2008 - A copy is never better than the original..with all due respect. Tom Cruise

macree01 Says:

Sep 10, 2008 - Woodys is the original. Is that what you were implying or was it something else. Either way, Woody recorded this originally in 1947 with Stan Getz, Serge Chaloff, et al. So from what your saying Woody's is the best? Because I think it is.

Oct 27, 2008 - I saw this tour in Minneapolis at the Carlton. They just lit the place up their fireworks. They did an a cappella performance of "Gloria" that was simply stunning.

HCICONS Says:

Nov 6, 2008 - I still listen to Hermans cut at least once a week -- great stuff -- during that era he had a drummer Don Lamond that I thought was the best with a big band
