Nov 25, 2008 - Sushruta is the father of surgery. 2600 years ago he and health scientists of his time conducted surgeries like cesareans, cataract, fractures and urinary stones. Usage of anaesthesia was well known in ancient India. Dental (tooth extraction) and Rhinoplasty (nose job) surgery was also being done. During vedic times, a person who committed adultery had his nose cut off ! Ouch!

Nov 28, 2008 - This is really interesting. I code cataract surgeries all the time, and it's difficult to visualize how it's actually done just by reading the report alone. Thanks for posting!

Dec 3, 2008 - I'm already thrilled with your procedure! Absolitely NO pain or discomfort and I had it done hours ago!...For others who read this, don't put this off..I waited four YEARS! It was VERY easy and Dr. P and the staff are top-notch. I can't wait to have the other eye done! Thanks Dr. P!

Dec 3, 2008 - I am absolutely THRILLED for you and expect nothing short of a great result. Your kind comments will be useful to other patients who are contemplating cataract surgery! Take your drops and see you Friday! Dr. P P.S. Did you enjoy "Band on the Run" during the surgery? Or do you have no memory of your music request?
msk225 Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - LOL--I have FULL recall of Wings' "Band on the Run"--playing just into the third time! I was fully cognitive throughout yet relaxed, which is yet ANOTHER reason why O can't stop prasing your work! See you Friday--literally and figuratively! =)

Dec 4, 2008 - I had a BAD cataract, one of the worst some ever saw--until 24 hrs ago. The Dr. that posted this did my surgery. Honestly, if I knew it was so painless and fast, I would have had it done years ago! This vid can look scary. But please believe me that you'll regret not getting it done sonner rather than later. Good luck, not that you'll need it =)
msk225 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - I'm now about 28 hours out from surgery done by Dr. Prince. Everything is wonderful! Absolutely no pain or discomfort of any kind. One again, if anyone is hesitating having this done--STOP! Have it done ASAP. It's a win-win situation. The surgery is actually PLEASANT! Dr. P and his staff are top-notch. If you're anywhere near his location, call and get in. I PROMISE you'll be thankful!
msk225 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - What we're talking aboout is Dr. P has a good selection of different songs to play during this procedure. (Well, he could use more from McCartney & Wings!!-LOL!)...we listenned to Band on the Run several times! That's just ONE of the things why I'm STILL raving after 24 hours! The surgery is not only painless, but Dr. P and the staff ALL make this a pleasant experience..and a FUN one, too! And when all is said & done, your vision will be amazingly clear! A "win-win" situation!
