Jul 8, 2007 - AllyEmm: you can wipe off any excess cornstarch after baking the clay, it stays as a powder. Hope this helps! - Rochelle Dahl

Nov 6, 2007 - You can try different types of glue, however the best would be a product called Liquid Polymer, usually sold where clay is sold. It can be used for both adhering baked and unbaked clay together. Hope this helps.

Oct 22, 2008 - I would recomend an "enclosed baking" method for bead making. You form a foil bowl and partialy fill with baking soda. PLace your beads and then cover again with he soda. It not only maintains shape and texture, but eliminates the horrid burning plastic smell of some polymer clays.
