Nov 12, 2008 - Have seen them 4 times. Twice in late 70's and twice early 80's. Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence Lover Boy was the warm up band and they had the hit Turn Me Loose. They got booed off stage. Singer said we were worse audience ever. Kansas came out and played roughly 2 minutes of the instrumental of Turn Me Loose. 3 encores. Noone left even after lights came on twice. Police had to escort people out. ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!

Nov 22, 2008 - I saw Kansas five times, three at the Kansas Coliseum in Wichita, at the Salina Bicentennial Center, and at Royals Stadium in KC, and I have to admit that though other great arena bands I saw during that time period like Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Van Halen, Rush, Styx were powerful beyond words, Kansas was always an out of body experience. With the exception of ELO, probably the tightest band I've ever seen in concert. The violin solo at 1:17 really starts this song to soar.

Oct 31, 2008 - This is unbelievable. A symphony. It's amazing to recall that this was one of the airings of Don Kirshner's Rock Concert - why don't we have programs like that anymore?
