YoSoyTheStalion Says:

Mar 11, 2008 - Some people cannot chew gum and walk at the same time. Smile. DALIDA accumulated all those awards basically because she worked hard and was extremely focused. In addition, she knew how to work as part of a team. SHe understood that she did not work in a vaccum. And knew how to maintain alive her ties with friends. And she loved France so much that she sacrificed a year -- she spent a year out of France -- because it was the best thing to do at the time for her country.

YoSoyTheStalion Says:

Mar 12, 2008 - Is there a anyone out there who knows if this coreography is DALIDA's own coreography or did she have coach, a coreographer who came up with the movements, the steps, etc? Veselina, do you know?

ericattia Says:

Apr 4, 2008 - Dalida is not an Arabian princess. She is Italian and lived in Paris for the majority of her life. I would love her whether she were Arabic, French, or Italian!!!

guesszizu Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - You can check that Dalida is originally Egyptian... she lived in France and Italy all her life...BUT she had strong ties with the Arab world, this is apparent even in her Arabic. Her French, nor her Italian are perfect, but they are original (non-native speaker) Salam (peace)

p2destini Says:

Apr 13, 2008 - well, according to her ethnicity dalida was not egyptian. the thing is if u were born & raised in a country & left when u were twenty something, even if u were not a citizen of this country, ur pretty much a part of it & its culture is part of u & those childhood years probably have the most effect on ur adulthood. the thing is Dalida was great in whatever language & if she did not regard herself as part of Egypt, she wouldn't have made songs like this or many others in the love of egypt.

Apr 14, 2008 - the fact that am sure of is dalida was born in egypt, particularly in shobra,a popular place in egypt.the song was in 1986

berlinkraut1 Says:

Apr 15, 2008 - Eternal beauty. Sublime singing. And a truly Arabian woman.

maashi2003 Says:

Apr 16, 2008 - the debate about dalida's citizenship is inappropriate. her song shows clearly that she is an egyptian. seek translation and you would know. it's a song of a person who left his country (Egypt) and happy to return to it. she is using the egyptian expression for the people who return, i.e. salma ya salama.

frdcairo7 Says:

Apr 17, 2008 - i DONT CARE WHAT ANY BODY SAY DALIDA IS A TRUE EGYPTION AND CONSIDERED ONE OF THE BEST SINGERS IN THE WORLD SHE SINGS IN FIVE LANGUAGES DALIDA DIED YOUNG BUT HER LOVE WILL REMAIN IN OUR HEART FOR EVER AND EVER
