Being a native German speaker and having lived for 12 years in London I'm by the time certain myself that it's aurally pretty ugly a language, or at least weird sounding. It is nice written though (and supposedly the clearest language in terms of audibility over a tannoy: "ACHTUNG!!!" being a prime example... ; )

Nov 8, 2008 - Has anyone of you noticed how fantastic tracks by Kraftwerk sound in mp3-files? It's extra-ordinary. It's exactly this song where it's the most obvious. I noticed it when when I heard this the very first time on my iPod, after just having ripped it from CD. I could not believe the razor-sharp crispness of the sound and the utter, complete silence for a second at 1:35 and at 1:37, and how some of the basslines and highhats bounce from left to right... I could go on, keep an ear out for for this!
