Aug 7, 2008 - Those guys sound as surprised as any calling a n eating competitor an athlete. Yes, he is an athlete- I mean, have you ever seen this guy train? He follows a strict exercise regiment and diet of tofu, noodles, and rice. The man is a machine and has the bod to proove it! Fuck, I wish I had washboard abs and still eat 50 some odd hot dogs. :P

Sep 19, 2008 - I bet he makes around $70,000 to $150,000 yearly. He has his own T shirt company and some endorsments. IFOCE hands out $10,000 for first place and other contests pay too. Just a guess on what he makes, but I bet he does not need a 2nd job.

Sep 21, 2008 - being healthy isn't just about being fat or skinny. even though this dude isn't fat, i bet you anything all of this is going to take a toll on his body one day.
GoodbyeMarco Says:
Sep 24, 2008 - It already has with his arthritis haha, but it's not as bad as you might think. As long as he doesn't suffer any mechanical trauma, balances his fat intake (i.e. getting enough monounsaturate, EPA in particular), and eats enough anti-oxidant-containing food (which he does in the form of the tofu and sushi he eats) then there shouldn't be any major long term effects, besides diabetes, but that's another story, lulz. If he's wise he'd follow a low-carbohydrate diet when he's not competing.
GoodbyeMarco Says:
Sep 24, 2008 - Nah, Joey Chestnut, an American, has won the last two annual Nathan's contests. As for AznHops, it's pretty reasonable to suspect that he vomits up the food again, but you have to remember that every time you do so it lowers your threshold for stomaching food. Either he has some sort of hypnotic power over himself or he's actually digesting it, at least most of the time.
GoodbyeMarco Says:
Sep 24, 2008 - He was 128 pounds, when he started lifting he went up to 160, which I believe is where he's at here.
