And yes, I agree with you... his bass playing in BLURRY EYES is very prominent and ear-catching, not to mention in so many other groovy L'Arc songs like HONEY and LINK (just to name a few).

Jun 30, 2008 - I've just seen Victor Wooten as you suggested, and in my opinion Victor Wooten is one of the most technically accomplished bassists of all time. I'm not sure if Tetsu is as technically amazing as Wooten, because from what I've seen he uses the bass to adorn L'Arc songs with melodic hooks and catchy grooves. Within the context of L'Arc~en~Ciel, he's an excellent bass player for the band, but I'm not sure how he measures as an individual bassist. Wooten, however, can certainly play on his own...
