Dec 4, 2008 - This both upset & concerned me so I asked around & found out that his wife died. I was horrified by the news b/c my mom & I knew his wife. She was so sweet & I felt so sorry for her husband. I was told her death happened unexpectedly but later discovered it was suicide. She shot herself in the head b/c the maintenance supervisor, her husband, the one I loved, cheated on her with someone he met on the internet. It was supposed to be a fling but he accidentally got the woman pregnant.

I thought the world of him & we became friends. He had a wife though that he had been with for ten years & they had 3 children together, one whom they adopted, so I never told him how I felt. 3 yrs into our friendship he quit talking to me & my family.

Its called The Maintenance Man and it is available for sale now. Its one of those "Oh my God I can't believe that just happened" books. Its a very compelling TRUE story about something that happened at our apartment complex in Columbia SC.
