Aug 29, 2008 - It's because he says "I know that I will be living in Acadia" but pronounces it ACanada. Thus stimulating the comments about idiotic Nationalism. However, I too will spend the rest of my life proudly living in Canada.

FeroxSeneca Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - Wow. Do people REALLY think that this song is about patriotism? I always thought that it was about rockstars' promiscuity issues. My interpretation has always been something like: "I will never settle down (with one girl); if I ever said so, I was only 'going through a phaise' (and didn't really mean it); who/ which woman will 'make a man out of me?'; of course I've 'thought about' settling down, but come on!; you are no different than the others." How can people see it any differently?
wellyes Says:
Oct 20, 2008 - I agree. I can't understand how anyone would interpret this song differently. Murphy is clearly musing about settling down from the lifestyle of the road in this song. "Man out of me" is an obvious reference to the expression "make her an honest woman"

Nov 26, 2008 - imagine how much better it would be if the beatles had written it.
NaMrJellyRek Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - while I will say that it is a good and interesting song, it comes nowhere near beatles songs. cmone people its not a great song. just face it. it feels good but thats about it.
