If it was unified during the time that WCW announced most of its championships namely based on the NWA counterparts (World Tag Team, World TV Heavyweight, U.S. Heavyweight, etc.), then Masahiro Chono, the Great Muta, Barry Windham and others during the early WCW era would be credited as WCW World Heavyweight Champions.
