pokeureye21 Says:

Aug 4, 2008 - i love the guitar, and your a great player, what gear you useing? besides the jagstang

DisposableHero187 Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - truth be told due to Cobain seldomly playing it after it was designed its rumored he was not satisfied with the outcome.

TaylorJennings Says:

Aug 22, 2008 - is that an american jagstang? and if so how much did you pay and where did you get it?

creepingnet Says:

Aug 22, 2008 - Besides what's in this vid, check out my vids "how many guitars I have" for most of the guitars, and a synth bit on my keyboards, and some of my bass videos. I also have some pedals I need to do a vid of: Digitech Whammy, BOSS SuperShifter, Dano Octave, DOD Flanger, Starcaster Chorus, Starcaster Distortion, CryBaby Wah, Zvex Fuzz Factory, and I have a Bugera 333XL Halfstack for live work, and a Behringer V-Amp Pro that I use for most videos.

creepingnet Says:

Aug 22, 2008 - It's one of the early Made In Japan Jag-Stangs (1996). Jag-Stangs were only ever made in Japan. The only American Jag-Stang guitars were the two made for Kurt Cobain toward the end of his life. The later ones are marked "Crafted in Japan" have have little or no difference in construction.

TaylorJennings Says:

Aug 22, 2008 - yea. like right after i posted that comment i found out they were only made in japan. lol. but it is pretty sweet. how is the action.

creepingnet Says:

Aug 23, 2008 - Pretty low considering what it is, but despite the 7.16" radius and the higher than norm action, this is the FASTEST guitar in my house.

TaylorJennings Says:

Aug 23, 2008 - good to know.

pokeureye21 Says:

Aug 23, 2008 - by the way, how big of an amp would i need to play a show in a fairly large venue. i MUST BE LOUDER THEN THE DRUMS.

creepingnet Says:

Aug 23, 2008 - There are 2 things that can help be louder than the drums - Tubes, and Wattage. Tube Amps are the loudest out there, a 50 Watt Solid State is about the same as a 30 watt Tube amp volume/power wise. Wattages that are desireable start around 50 Watts for the norm, or if you really wanna screw the drummer volume-wise, then I'd go for something like a Marshall, Bugera, Mesa, or similar Halfstack that gets the sound you want (100 Watts +). You'll be ready to play venues with KISS on that setup.

pokeureye21 Says:

Aug 24, 2008 - Thankee =D. there a big ass peavy that im looking at buying its a tube amp

TheJaywalkers Says:

Sep 9, 2008 - It doesnt only depend on the Tubes and wattage It depends on the speaker The room size everything

Godzillax22 Says:

Oct 2, 2008 - sounds a lot like the band "Rush"

xXxFatalErrorxXx Says:

Oct 25, 2008 - EMG's? Kurt's rolling over in his grave.

creepingnet Says:

Oct 25, 2008 - Maybe so but it's not cause of me, I bought the guitar WITH THEM ALREADY INSTALLED BY SOMEONE ELSE. It just happened to be a bonus that they sounded good to me, and that the guitar was cheaper for being modded "against the rules of Alternative Rock" (which is an oxymoron if I ever wrote one).

creepingnet Says:

Oct 25, 2008 - Accidentally removed your last comment...my response to it sucking. I like the guitar, that's ALL that matters. Besides, wasn't Kurt kind of bothered by Grunge/Alt becoming a cliche in itself. I see of it as one more way us musicians split ourselves by basing our musical identities off brand names.

xXxFatalErrorxXx Says:

Oct 25, 2008 - That's a really good point... Idk though, it's more like a sentimental kind of thing, and the principal of it being a Kurt guitar with high-end heavy metal pickups. Idk. I guess I'm more mad at who put them in in the first place. Nyeh, I was just in a bad mood when I made my inital comment and I apologize. You're an insane player, I'll give you that. How long have you been playing?

creepingnet Says:

Oct 25, 2008 - Apology accepted. As for the guitar, it's all me all the way. I liked Kurt's original designs, and liked the stuff he played, but I like that with time I've done my own things with it rather than just copied Kurt. I also own a Mustang (stock), and a Jag with cool rails. I've been playing 14 years.

xXxFatalErrorxXx Says:

Oct 25, 2008 - Oh, okay. You have a great style, but that's what 14 years will do for you. I've only been playing for two.

moser8 Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - your right. totally kills the purpose and value of this guitar. its a shame! i have one. all original (:

johncrawley92 Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - i am looking at a jagstang on ebay and all the ones i saw didnt have a whammy bar,did u have to install it on youre's or was it already there?

johncrawley92 Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - oh and also did u have it hooked to the keyboard in the background or synced with anything else?

creepingnet Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - all Jag-Stangs have a whammy bar system, but often times the bar is lost since most of the people who play Jag-Stangs either dislike the trem or can't get it to stay in tune. There's this common myth that the Mustang bridge sucks and can't stay in tune.

creepingnet Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - Nope, just the Jag-Stang with the Line6 AX2 212 amplifier.
