Sep 1, 2008 - Djibouti is strategically located and is attracting huge amount of investments, mainly in the transport sector and the upgrading of our infrastructures. This project is piece of a larger vision which plans to make Djibouti the gateway for the East and central Africa. The other projetcs include: Doraleh port complex (400 million USD), the Horn of Africa resort (1 billion USD), the New airport (4billion USD), Moucha Islands touristic resort (2 billions USD), Africa's biggest free zone ect...

sunnyhouse76 Says:

Sep 7, 2008 - i love the idea and im already saving some $ to invest in the project if America gives its OK!

cesitarcr Says:

Sep 17, 2008 - Why should America(you mean U.S i guess)give its OK? Who do you think they are? Would this project benefit the millions and millions of people dying from hunger in Africa, it then is good, otherwise do not waste your time and money. The human beings need technology but this without food is never an achievement.

moulhoule Says:

Sep 18, 2008 - More than honored to witness my country, the Rupublic of Djibouti, hosting such daring, ambitious and modern project. It will undoubtly boost the economic devellopement of Djibouti and Yemen! Go Al Nour! Go!

Qassem57 Says:

Oct 14, 2008 - brother Saudis always wanted to discredit yemen and somalia , this project is only to marginalize suck potentailly stronger counrties. thew have banned sales of livestock from somalia and de-evlauted role of Aden.

libaaxlagad Says:

Oct 14, 2008 - well said. never expect saudis to help yemen or somalia because they beleive that when both countries are weaker ir divided then it is for the benefit of saudi arabia.this project is only for the beenfit of jibouti and lsiten to what he says it starts with jibouit ...

princessuhmaney9517 Says:

Oct 24, 2008 - why the fuck should america give its "OK"? who the fuck do they think they are. Other world acheievements do not concern them. America thinks its the control center of the world. America thinks that every other country except theirs has to have help from America. NO. Us yemenis can do whatever we want.....whenever. DONT YOU SEE PEOPLE? AMERICA THINKS THAT THIS IS A THREAT TO THE POPULATION AND ACHEIEVEMENTS OF AMERICA. THIS IS PART OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER. SUPPORT THIS PORJECT!

wmvhomes Says:

Oct 25, 2008 - Bin laden brother+ Horn of africa+ lack of goverment control= bad things my friend. what Bank will finannce the project? BTW, Wall street is in USA and they control the banking system.

CKBrown1000 Says:

Oct 26, 2008 - As an American, I find that statement offensive. You are generalizing us all. I support Noor City, and wish the best of luck to it's development.

AxmedGurey Says:

Oct 27, 2008 - why can't we help each other, if our saudi brothers don't want to help us then thats up to them, let them invest all their money into USA, who are buying new weapons and in fact giving all the weapons to israel, who are killing our palestinian brothers. CIRCLE of betrayal so trust no one!

kusari86 Says:

Oct 28, 2008 - When pigs fly...

kusari86 Says:

Oct 28, 2008 - Because we control the world. If we did sign off on it , it doesn't happen.

fizwidget101 Says:

Oct 28, 2008 - I am willing to donate 81.1 million if you can proove that this project will be a success

Xuseen Says:

Nov 3, 2008 - you will talke diffrent when it is built and you come there for vacation

auglendsveien Says:

Nov 9, 2008 - Interesting concept but Djibouti is not Denmark and Yemen not Sweden. Get literacy then healthcare, democracy, woman vote. A free press, judiciary independent of rulers and dictators. Islam needs reform to bring it into the modern world and free thinking to challenge the old ideologies. How will they stem the mass flow of people travelling from Africa into the Middle East. African regimes are bedevilled by corruption with no end in sight for the betterment of the people

arabinking Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - you better whach what you say son...show respect to other people i don't want to talk about you're religion..i'm proud to be an mulism thanks god for that guideness...

auglendsveien Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Your threatning dcomment proves my point. You completely miss the point to develop societies for the benefit of people not supressed by dogma and the fear of literacy. Open your eyes and look around you and just look at the state so many of these people live in. Religion of whatever persution have many dark sides too it. Make sure you are not corrupted by your own blindness.

arabinking Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - lookkkk WAKE UP WAKE UP. I SWEAR YOUR BLIND..IF YOU THINK YOU NOT YOU SHOULD RECONIZE WHAT ISLME IS AND WHAT'S ABOUT AND WHAT IT MEANSSSSSSS....

auglendsveien Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - I am not talking about Islam. Is that your concern? Religion is a concept and its ok if thats what you believe. Humanity evolved over millions of years. There was never such a thing as a "creator". The so called wise men who told the stories meant well. There never is nor was such a thing as paradise. Those religious guys had no idea of how old the earth was, nor of the planetary system or prehistoric periods. Some religious people even believed the earth was flat and condemned Galileo.

SalehOmarAli Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - Most people agree that construction of the bridge will begin in 2009. Some very interesting stuff.

SalehOmarAli Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - This bridge project would make the Horn of Africa one of the biggest economic centres in the world. Not only would it be beneficial to East Africa, it would benefit Africa's economy as a whole. I will try to be more informed about this project when construction begins in 2009.

zidanamerica Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - it looks good on the video. i hope it looks better when they finish it.

BenNunStudios Says:

Dec 4, 2008 - Our religion Islam is what made Europe now.

BenNunStudios Says:

Dec 4, 2008 - Sorry Mr. Narrator - great passion, but futile. For one thing, the Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh's government, being of great corruption, has diliberately made the Investment Laws in Yemen quite impossible on investors. Unfortunately, many investors in Yemen are turned away simply because the investors refuse giving 'appeasement' money to the Yemeni government - a government that survives primarily on receiving bribes from it's citizens and international investors.
