Much to the dismay of Spring Break vacationers, Hawaii has been plagued by uncharacteristically bad weather for the last two weeks. Thunderstorms, heavy rains, floods, landslides, even tornados and hail. The tourist mecca of Waikiki has not escaped the gray skies, where you're now as likely to see umbrellas and ponchos as bikinis and surfboards. YouTuber "KathyKeane" suggested I use Simon & Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence" on a video consisting of some of my photos of sunsets . . . last week in Hawaii I took this video footage of a sunset at Waikiki Beach, so I decided to see what that looks like when put with "Sound of Silence" (and part of "Parsley, Sage . . . ") Thanks for the suggestion Kathy! (I know it's not EXACTLY what you suggested (i.e. I used video instead of photos ), but hopefully it's close to what you envisioned!)
